Friends Not Foes is a student run refugee committee in the Colchester Sixth Form College. Helped by twowonderful teachers, we gather to help the refugee community in Colchester.
Why ?

As a consequence of the Syrian War, many people have been forced to flee their home. Whilst in England they have to face many challenges such as the language barrier.
What ?
Every week, we offer conversation classes and driving theory lessons, where Refugees can come to improve their English, or study driving theory, supported by the students.
Being involved with Friends Not Foes was the highlight of my college experience. It allowed me to make a difference ,however small, within my community and meet some amazing people who have become my good friends. Get involved!
